I own a regular phone with verizon and I’m curious about how verizon may have edited the Blackberry’s usability. I’ve been annoyed in the past with how Verizon tends to disable certain USEFUL features from their phones so you have to spend more to get the same features you would with a different provider.

Is this the case with any of the features in the Blackberry?
Thanks.

I have the Blackberry 8830 or something like that..it’s not the pearl, but its from Verizon.
When you buy a Blackberry, it doesn’t come with anything. Unless you want to pay per minute for using the internet.
There is a 20 or 30 dollar plan that comes with the Blackberry that inclues the internet.
I LOVE my Blackberry, but it is not a very child-ish phone.
Definately more for business, the packet includes e-mail access as well.
But the e-mail only works if you have a paid for email, not a free account from hotmail or yahoo.
